Happening on Monday, September 18th from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM PST at Twitter HQ in San Francisco, this is the inaugural event celebrating empowered digital citizens.

(San Francisco, CA – May 16, 2017) – On Monday, September 18, 2017, Twitter will host the first annual #Digital4Good event at their San Francisco headquarters and it will be live streamed to a global audience. #Digital4Good will be a major gathering of highly-engaged students, industry, and educators that are focused on empowering positive tech use and empowerment--digital for good. This exciting event will celebrate student voice and digital leadership, featuring as fast-paced mix of presentations, panels, videos, and the first ever #Digital4Good awards. Unlike typical youth recognition, the #Digital4Good awards are nominated by students for students.


#ICANHELP will be back at CADA in 2017. Along with our exhibit booth and a couple of workshops, we are hosting one of the pre-conference workshops. We will share best practices, lessons and resources related to student and educator use of social media on your campus. Come by our booth, say hi and let's have some fun!

Digital Leadership Summit

#ICANHELP is hosting our first professional development training for admin, counselors and educators at The Bay in Lincoln, Nebraska on Feb. 11, 2017. Come and join us for a day of social media goodness as we discuss best practices, digital leadership, student empowerment and share examples and policies from schools across the United States.

Katherine Pham & Gabriella Mariscal wanted to take storytelling at their school to the next level. Inspired by the work on the Facebook Page Humans of New York, the two High School Seniors created Humans of Loara. Supported by their advisor Paul Chylinski, the students set out to improve their school using social media.

ICANHELPLINE Expanding To Nationwide Service for the 2016-’17 School Year

The creators of the U.S.'s first Internet helpline, ICANHELPLINE, which is dedicated to schools, announce that they have merged to form a new 501c3 nonprofit organization, The Net Safety Collaborative, to expand the helpline pilot to national service for the 2016-2017 school year.
